Rental Information

 

The Woman’s Club of Bethesda has a lovely large ballroom with maple wood flooring, a small stage, a  sunroom, a foyer, and a kitchen.  With central air conditioning and heat, the clubhouse is available to rent year-round for your special events. We are a great venue for all wedding-related events: rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, and engagement party.  The Clubhouse is a perfect place for all the significant events in our lives from a baby shower to a birthday party to a celebration of life. 

To ensure you can have your event when you want to have it, we rent to only one client per day.  The entire first floor of the Clubhouse is included in the rental fee. We furnish round dining tables (four feet in diameter), buffet tables (six or eight feet long), highboy cocktail tables, and 100 cushioned chairs.

Venue Rental Information

Alcohol Policy
Alcohol may be served without a Montgomery County license.  In the event of the planned sale of alcoholic beverages in the Clubhouse, a permit must be obtained from the Montgomery County Liquor License Board in advance of the event, and be prepared to display that permit at any time during the course of the Clubhouse event.  The serving, sale, consumption, and use of alcoholic beverages are permitted in the Clubhouse only.  No Kegs.

Food/Catering
You are welcome to use your own food or bring in the caterer of your choice.  There are no restrictions. A list of Highly Recommended Caterers is available upon request.

Kitchen
A warming kitchen is available and includes 2 ovens/ranges, a refrigerator, and a microwave.  No food preparation is permitted. No Ice Machine.

Capacity
95     Seated guests or 115 standing guests  (# of tables limits the number of guests)

Climate Control
The Clubhouse has both central air conditioning and heat enabling clients to hold events throughout the year.

Good Neighbor Policy
All music must end by 12 midnight and the premises must be vacated by 12:30 am.  Failure to vacate by 12:30 am will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

The only exception is on New Year’s Eve.
